Dyan Elaine Brigode DeAngelis, 76, of China Grove passed away March 13, 2020. She was born September 21, 1943 in Johnson City, New York, a daughter of the late Richard and Ethel Brigode. She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael DeAngelis in 2016.

Dyan had retired from I.B.M. after working in New York and Charlotte for many years. She loved to do arts and crafts as well as singing. She loved spending time with her family and taking care of her grandchildren.  Dyan also liked traveling and camping. She had a great sense of humor.

She is survived by her children, Lori Beach of Kannapolis, Randy Beach (April) of Kannapolis, Jamie Beach (Vickie) of China Grove, 7 grandchildren, Blake Beach, Bradley Beach, Miranda McClamrock, Jessica Sechler, Katlynn Beach, Dalton Lewis, Taylor Lewis, 4 great grandchildren, Kymber, Caroline and Kailey Beach, Paisley Sechler, sister, Cathy Fresinski (Larry) of Henderson, NV and brother, Craig Brigode of Salisbury.

Her family will receive friends from 5 to 7 on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at Whitley’s Funeral Home. Her family understands with the Governor’s advice and recommendations on the coronavirus outbreak that if you are not able to attend, please pray for her and her family and please leave a condolence on their behalf.
