Obituary: Dean LewisEarl Dean Lewis, age 73, of Kannapolis, died Thursday, August 4, 2011 at his home.He was born August 19, 1937 in Cabarrus County, the son of the late Clifford and Lucille Childers Lewis. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Barbara Smith Lewis, daughter Deaneta Lewis, grandson Cameron Lewis and brother Glenn Lewis.He retired from American Dornier, Inc. He was a member of New Hope Lutheran Church. He was an avid golfer. He is survived by his wife Janice Brown Lewis, children: Michael Lewis, Barbara Cook, Patrick Lewis, Christopher Lewis, Melissa Keith and Casey Christy, grandchildren: Heather, Candice, Jeremy, Justin, Jessica, Ashley, Faith and Chris, great-grandchildren: McKenna, Dillon and Owen.Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, August 6, 2011 at New Hope Lutheran Church .
