Obituary: Edgar Allen Hilton, 59 of 755 Wales Court, N.W.,Apt. 16, Concord, died Sunday, October 18, 2009 at CMC-NorthEast Medical Center. He had been in declining health for one year. He was born August 13, 1950 in Cabarrus County, son of the late Edgar Lemual Hilton and Bertha Mae Melton Hilton. He was a graduate of Northwest Cabarrus High School. He was employed in automobile sales and had been sales manager at Cloninger Ford. He was a Veteran of the US Army serving during the Vietnam Era. He was an avid golfer. He loved to shag and fish. Funeral services will be 3:00 P.M. Thursday, October 22, 2009 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Entombment will follow in Carolina Memorial Park Plaza Mausoleum. Military graveside rites will be conducted by the Cabarrus Veteran's Honor Guard. The family will receive friends at Whitley's Funeral Home Wednesday, October 21, 2009 from 7-9 P.M. At other times they will be at the home of a brother, Steven D. Hilton, 4907 Clubview Drive, Concord. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Jane McHone Hilton on January 25, 2000. He is survived by a Daughter: Nicole Leigh Kee and Husband Adam of Midland. Also survived by three grandchildren, Kaylle Salter of Midland, Austin and Aaron Kee of Midland. A Sister: Vickie Campbell and husband Glenn of Dallas, Tx. , Brother: Steven D. Hilton and wife Pattie of Concord, and a Brother in Law and Sister in Law, Charlie Donahue and wife Vicky of Kannapolis. Whitley's Funeral Home is serving the family of Mr. Hilton. Online condolences
