Edith Edee Furr

Edith (Edee) Furr passed away on Tuesday, March 23, 2021. She was 91. Preceded by her husband Robert Furr and grandson Christopher.

Those left to cherish her memory are daughter Linda Childress (Wayne) son Michael Furr (Harriet). Her grandchildren Brian Childress (Krista) and Lori Lane (Josh), great grandchildren Kristin Furr, Kortlynn and Adalynn who were the joy of her life. One sister Gladys Miller, best friend and companion Ron Deaton.

Edee was a loving devoted mother, grandmother and friend to all those whose lives she touched.  Loving & doing for others was what she was all about.  There were so many fun filled years hosting the “Swingin Seniors” at the YMCA Kannapolis, where she made all who walked thru those doors feel welcomed and loved.

She loved the Lord and her faith was strong.  Her church families were dear to her.  She loved children and she made sure that if they crossed her path they felt her love.

She leaves nothing behind but wonderful memories. Tell her we love her Lord & we miss her so much and when she turns to smile, place a kiss upon her cheek and hold her for a while.
