Edna Dease

Edna Humphries Dease, 74, of Kannapolis passed away, Monday February 14, 2022 at Tucker Hospice House after a period of declining health. Born, March 23, 1947 in Kershaw, SC she was the daughter of the late William Leroy and Virgie Thompson Humphries.
During her working years, Edna worked as a weaver at the former Cannon Mills. Her favorite past time was spending time with her grandchildren, whom she loved dearly. Edna also enjoyed doing word find puzzles in her spare time.
Her memory will be cherished by her son Chad Dease and wife Amber of Landis; four grandchildren, Jason, Kayla, Bailey, and Kai Dease; four great grandchildren; a brother, Douglas Humphries and wife Sue; three sisters, Janice Langley and husband Tommy, Shirley Dease and husband Luke "Junior", Shelby Pethel and husband Cliff.
Aside from her parents, Edna was preceded in death by Bobby Christopher "Chris" Dease, and Kimberly Dianne "Kim" Dease.
A memorial service to honor her life will be held 11:00am Saturday, February 19, 2022 at Whitley's Funeral's Chapel, Kannapolis. Pastor Larry Humphries will officiate.
