Edward Eugene "Eddy" Stillwell, 71, of Kannapolis, passed away, Thursday May 6, 2021 at the V.A. Medical Center in Salisbury.
He was born October 6, 1949 in Iredell Co. to the late George Theodore Stillwell and Mary Alice Brown Stillwell.
Eddy served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, he was a line man for Pike Electric for many years, retiring in 2006, he was a member of Real Life Church. He enjoyed fishing, working in the yard, and crossword puzzles.
He was preceded in death by his wife Julie Elaine Stillwell, a brother Michael Stillwell, and a sister Rosa Stillwell.
Those left to cherish his memory, two daughters; Mary Boger (Justin) of Kannapolis, Sharon Collins (Shay) of Charlotte, seven grandchildren; Ryan, Madison, and Zoey all of Kannapolis, Jessica, Annelaine, Allison, and Aiden all of Charlotte, one great grandchild, Avery Keith Gibson.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Troy Rushing officiating, burial will follow at Salisbury National Cemetery at 1:00 PM. A visitation will be prior to the service from 10:00-11:00 AM at Whitley's Funeral Home.
