When not working, Eddie enjoyed fishing, exploring, reading true crime novels, and taking naps with his partner in crime and sidekick, Scout. A loving and devoted father, son, brother, uncle and friend, Eddie will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Family members include his beloved daughter, Kali Savannah Thompson; brother, James W. Thompson, Jr. (Angela); his father, James W. Thompson, Sr.; step father, Larry Broome; niece Caitlyn Thompson; his best friend, James W. Ferree III (Shannon) and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 pm Sunday, July 16th at Whitley’s Funeral Home. Following the visitation, the family invites anyone who would like to attend a celebration of life dinner in the Annex Chapel, to come and share memories with Kali and the family.
