Edward "Eddie" Guin Pressley, Jr.

Edward G. Pressley Sr. and his wife Mary Love Presley of Cabarrus County, welcomed their baby boy Edward G. Pressley Jr. into this world on February 15, 1957.  Edward Jr. would soon be known as ""Eddie".

Eddie enjoyed working in the garden, growing flowers, having fun at the beach with family and friends, skating, different types of music and dancing. Eddie liked to relax and spend time fishing, while enjoying the beauty of nature. Shopping for new cars, going shopping and taking time from a busy day to do some front porch sitting, were relaxing times for Eddie.  His favorite time was watching his grand kids play in his front yard.

Eddie was a District Manager for Boddie-Noell Enterprises for 33 years and enjoyed helping people become successful in their work habits and advancements with the company, along with making numerous friends.

Edward " Eddie " G. Pressley Jr. was welcomed into his Heavenly home on Tuesday, April 14, 2020 after a period of declining health.

Family members that remain to cherish memories are his wife of 39 years Darlene Stamper Pressley, daughters Jessica Lynn King and husband Brandon, and Elisa G. Pressley and Carl all of Kannapolis, and son Edward Wayne Pressley of China Grove. A sister Mary Ann Crowe and husband Steve of Kannapolis.

Grandchildren Brandon Lee Goodman, Zander Rory Goodman, Ryan Austin" Dale " Walden, Paige Marie Pressley, Jakob Riley King, Kynleigh Lane Boger " Sissy Pot ', and Jaxson Edward Pressley “ J- Bird”. will forever remember Eddie as a grandfather and best friend.  Eddies K-9 buddy will also miss the walks, back rubs and the love he shared with Eddie.

Eddie will lie in state from 1:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., Friday, April 17, 2020 at Whitley's Funeral Home.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a future date and time.

In lieu of flowers the Family request memorials be made to Piedmont Baptist Church, 5870 Wright Road, Kannapolis, N.C. 28081.
