Effie Edith Bare

Obituary: Effie Edith Bare, 81, of Kannapolis died Oct. 11, 2009. She was born in Ashe County on August 28, 1928, the daughter of the late Mackie Gene Lambert and Mary Jane Lambert. She was preceded in death by her husband Grover and her son Terry. She retired from Cannon Mills and was a member of Friendship Freewill Baptist Church. Funeral services were held Tuesday Oct. 13, 2009 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel. She is survived by 3 children: Mary Ivey, Cathy Bare, and Tony Bare, 9 grandchildren and 10 greatgrandchildren, 2 sisters and 2 brothers.
