Elaine Sutphin

On October 14, 2024, Elaine received her promised reward. She was born on July 9, 1934 to James Everett Wheeler and Bonzie Thelma Sparks Wheeler. 

Elaine was a dutiful and faithful Christian who shared her love for the Lord. She belonged to Eastern Star Eureka chapter 277, and Phaniel Baptist Church.

She and Her late husband, Ronda Lincoln Sutphin were married for 59 years.

Elaine leaves behind daughter Valerie Sutphin Ewart and husband Jerry. 

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, October 17, 2024 at Carolina Memorial Park with Pastor Michael Taylor officiating. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Phaniel Baptist Church, 2685 Phaniel Church Rd, Rockwell, NC 28138.
