Obituary: Elaine Watson Wingler, 84, of Concord, NC. and resident of Five Oaks Manor for the past nine months, passed away Tuesday morning July 5, 2011. Her death follows an extended illness.Mrs. Wingler was born in Newark, New Jersey on November 7, 1926, a daughter of the late John E. Watson Sr. and Lula Kanoth Watson. Mrs. Wingler was a former Kannapolis resident and attended A.L. Brown High School. Funeral services will be Friday, July 8, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Whitley's Funeral Home Main Chapel with Rev. Mark Wachtstetter officiating. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial park. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday, July 7, 2011 at Whitley's Funeral Home.Mrs. Wingler is survived by her husband Jack, 2 sons; Richard Jack Wingler of Kannapolis, and Eric Lynn Wingler of Landis, a brother, John Watson of Kannapolis, 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
