Elese Davis

Obituary: Elese Hurst Davis, 97, passed away Sunday, December 15, 2013 at the Brian Center in Concord. Mrs. Davis was born September 8, 1916 in Chesterfield, South Carolina to the late Edgar Thomas Hurst and Catherine Burr Hurst. She was a member of Charity Baptist Church, was retired from Cannon Mills, and she was a loving lady. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be 3:00 P.M. Thursday, December 19, 2013 at Charity Baptist Church with the Rev. Ron Bushey and Rev. Beaver Hammond officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. Survivors include a sister-in-law, Doris Hurst of Kannapolis, NC and many nieces and nephews. Whitley's Funeral Home is serving the Davis Family.
