Elizabeth Margaret Klipfel Ghosen, 80, of Kannapolis, went to be with her Lord and Savior on September 24, 2024.
Elizabeth was born on November 17, 1943, in Buffalo, New York. She was a cherished daughter of the late Howard George Klipfel and Idamae Rivard Klipfel.
A true animal lover, Elizabeth had a special bond with her pets, always offering them a loving home. Her kindness extended to all creatures, and she was known for her compassion toward animals. She also had a particular fondness for crossword puzzles.
In her younger years, Elizabeth enjoyed bowling. She was a regular on the lanes, competing with both friends and teammates.
Above all, she cherished her role as a grandmother. She devoted much of her time to caring for her grandchildren, creating special memories that they will carry with them forever.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Marlene Kiser (Phil), Andrew Ghosen (Carrie), Kimberly Mach (Chris); 7 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; sister, Karen Klipfel; brother, Kevin Klipfel (Kim); she was also blessed with many loving nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, March 13, 2025 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Salisbury. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Inurnment will be at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis.
