Elizabeth Michelle Poston

Elizabeth Michelle Poston 33, of Salisbury, passed away, Friday, December 1, 2023 at Novant Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte.
She was born April 9, 1990 in Cabarrus Co. to Philip E. Poston and Angela Lowe Christy.
Michelle graduated from Salisbury High School, she was a veteran of the Army serving in Iraq. She was attending classes to be a drug abuse counselor, she loved the outdoors. She and her son Jaxson enjoyed fishing and hiking together frequently. She loved being a mother, Michelle will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Stephen Avery Poston in 2014, grandmother, Brenda Lowe in 2017, grandfather, Dwight Poston in 2018.
Those left to cherish her memory; her mother Angela Lowe Christy (Clint), her father, Philip Edward Poston (Gina), son, Jaxson Stoodley, sisters, Andrea Luttrell Barajas, Oliva Raine Christy, brother, Logan Clontz, grandparents; William Robert Lowe, Michael and Mary Baker.
Graveside service will be held, Monday, December 11, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Salisbury National Cemetery with Rev. Brian Duncan officiating, with military honors.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 3:00 PM Saturday, December 9, 2023 at Whitley's Funeral Home.
