Elizabeth (Libby) (Mccommons) Meadows

Elizabeth “Libby” McCommons Meadows, 80, of Kannapolis passed away on July 23, 2022. She was born on November 28, 1941 in Cabarrus County, a daughter of the late William Stewart McCommons and Jeanette Sills McCommons.

Libby had formerly worked as a Lab Tech for the former Cabarrus Memorial Hospital and Cabarrus Pediatrics. She was a member of Kimball Memorial Lutheran Church. Libby was an avid Carolina Tarheel fan. She was a loving mother and grandmother that greatly adored her grandson, Zachary.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM Thursday, July 28, 2022 at Whitley’s Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Pastor John Futterer. Her family will receive friends  prior from 3 to 4 at Whitley’s.

Libby is survived by her son, Stewart Meadows and wife, Lisa and grandson, Zachary Meadows.
