Emma Sophia Watson

Obituary: Emma Sophia Watson, 1, beloved daughter and sister, returned to her heavenly home on Wednesday, April 17, 2013. Emma was born on April 10, 2012. In her precious life, she was a little star shining brightly for all to see. Her smiles, laughter and fluffy hair will be missed. Her happy spirit was a reflection of the love Jesus Christ has for us all. Emma's loving forever family consists of her father and mother, Joseph and Rebekah Watson, and her siblings, Tori, Brook, Carter, and Olivia. Her grandparents are Jerry and Kathy Watson of Kannapolis and Perry and Vicki Rush of Boiling Springs, South Carolina; she also has many aunts, uncles, and cousins. The family will welcome friends and relatives on Monday, April 22 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Whitley's Funeral Home in Kannapolis. Services will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1601 Cooper Avenue, Kannapolis, on Tuesday, April 23 at 11:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to a trust established in Emma's honor, care of Whitley's Funeral Home, 1748 Dale Earnhardt Blvd., Kannapolis, N.C. 28083.
