Enos Eugene Godwin,Jr.

Obituary: Enos Eugene Godwin, Jr, 54, of Albemarle went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 21,2016 at Forrest Oaks Heathcare of Albemarle following a period of declining health. Enos was born August 23, 1961 in Marion County, In. a son of the late Enos Eugene Godwin, Sr. and the late Laura Nelms Ussery. He attended South Stanly High School. He was a marine and small engine mechanic and salesman. Enos enjoyed fishing and helping other people. He never met a stranger and was a special man. He was a good father and provider for his family. Survivors include one son, Isaac Godwin of Concord, two brothers, David Godwin of Albemarle and Matt Godwin of St. Paul, NC. He is also survived by his former wife, Angela Dawn Godwin of Concord. The family will have private services at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 Saint Jude Pl, Memphis, TN 38105.
