Obituary: Eric Lynn Marlowe, 53 of Kannapolis died Thursday July 14, 2011 at his residence. His death follows a period of declining health. Eric was born on September 7, 1957 in Iredell county, NC a son of the late Albert D. and Frances Vinson Marlowe.Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, July 18, 2011 at Faith Freewill Baptist Church with Pastor James Pauley officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00PM Monday prior to services at the church.Eric is survived by 3 brothers; Tommy Marlowe (Cathy), Michael Marlowe (Jackie), and Phillip Marlow (Amy) all of Kannapolis, his fiancé; Star Newsome of Kannapolis and several nieces and nephews.The family suggest memorials be made to Faith Freewill Baptist Church, 904 Chipola St, Kannapolis, NC., 28083.Online condolences may be left at www.whitleysfuneralhome.com
