Erika Leigh Hudson, 41, of Kannapolis peacefully went to be with her Lord and Savior Friday morning October 18, 2024 at the home of her father after a period of declining health.
Erika was born July 23, 1983 in Cabarrus County. She was a cherished daughter of Connie Wike Johnson and John Eric Hudson. In addition to her parents, she left those to cherish her memory including her son, Davion Eric Hudson, her sister, Stacy Marie Hudson, her niece LaMya Hairston and her nephew, Jordan Webb, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Erika enjoyed traveling, gardening, listening to all genres of music, and spending time with her family.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at Piedmont Baptist Church, 5870 Wright Road, Kannapolis with the service beginning at 3:00 PM.
