Ernestine “Tiney” Ross Campbell, 76, of Kannapolis, who was at her home, went to be with her Lord on Saturday morning, August 24, 2024.
Born August 4, 1948, in Rowan County, she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Elnora Wensil Ross. In addition to her parents, preceding her in death were her husband, Jesse Campbell; a son, Jesse Wayne Campbell; sister, Jane Lipe; and her brother, Charlie Brown Huffstickler.
Tiney had worked for many years at What-A-Burger, both at the #1 and Midway location, where she was well known and loved by her many loyal customers. She loved all her family, and especially adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mrs. Campbell also loved all her little dogs. Most importantly, she loved her Lord and Savior. A loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend to many, Tiney will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Family members left with many cherished memories include her son, Curtis Campbell (Tina); her grandsons, Jesse “Wayne” Campbell, Jr and Thomas “Bruce” Campbell; her granddaughter, Rilynn Hartsell and one “soon to be”; special loved ones, Lisa Baxley and Amber Burleson; nieces, nephews and extended family members.
