Ernestine Elizabeth (Bevins) Lemons

Ernestine Elizabeth Bevins Lemons, 89, of Kannapolis, NC passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at Brookdale Assisted Living in Concord.

She was born August 28, 1935 in Oklahoma to the late Ernest Lawrence Bevins and Daisy Marie Matlock Bevins.

Ernestine worked for GE for many years and after her retirement she volunteered at RSVP where she coordinated travel to appointments for those in need. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Those left to cherish her memory; four daughters, Gayla Iles (Dennis), Joi Kieffer, Debra Keener (Jimmy), and Jerri Steinbrook, six grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, September 21, 2024 at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove with Dr. Greg Sloop officiating.
