Erroll Clifford Sult, Sr.

Obituary: Kannapolis, NC Erroll Clifford Sult, Sr., 90, of Kannapolis passed away April 18, 2018. He was born May 15, 1927 in Wythe County, Virginia. He was a son of the late Walter Thomas Sult and Laura Robinson Sult. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Jones Sult, on April 6, 2013 and brother, Tom Sult. Erroll was partner and VP of ISE Enterprises. He was retired CEO of the National Welders Supply Co. He served on the Board of Directors of AirGas. He was the former President of the International Oxygen Manufacturing Association (IOMA) and National Welders Supply Association (NWSA), as well as a former board member of the American Welder's Association (AWS). Erroll was a Veteran of the US Navy serving in WWII. He was a Mason and a Shriner. Erroll was a Charter Member of Pine Island Country Club where he enjoyed playing golf and playing cards with his buddies. Erroll had played over 600 different golf courses all over the world throughout his lifetime. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, April 22, 2018 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Rev. Mike Hubbard. Burial with Military Honors will follow at Carolina Memorial Park by the Cabarrus Veteran's Honor Guard. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3:30 PM prior at Whitley's. He is survived by children, Deborah Sult Hadjy (Pandor), Cliff Sult, Jr. (Charlotte), Terry Sult (Rhonda). Grandchildren, Shana Sult Ellis (Nathan), Cliff Sult, III (Samantha), Paul Hadjy, L.E. Sult, Matthew Sult, Great Grandchildren, Haylee, Isabella, Cliff IV, and Aaliyah. Sisters, Joyce Holton and Rose Weaver.
