Ethel Mae Wallace

Obituary: Ethel Mae Gulledge Wallace 76 passed away Saturday, November 24, 2012 at her residence. Mrs. Wallace was born November 28, 1935 in Patrick, South Carolina to the late M.J. and Maggie Gulledge. She was a member of Unity United Methodist Church; and worked for Cannon Mills Plant 1 weave room #6. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Fred H. Wallace, Sr. of the home; her children, Debbie (Ricky) Mills, Freddie H. Wallace, Jr., Stevie (Teressa) Wallace, Michael (Dawn) Wallace, and Robin (David) Austin all of Kannapolis, NC; ten grandchildren; and fourteen great -grandchildren. A funeral service will be held 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tim Whittington officiating. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at Whitley's Funeral Home.
