Etta Geneva Gainey Wallace

Obituary: Etta Geneva Gainey Wallace, 93, of Kannapolis, formerly of Hartsville, SC passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2013 at CMC-NorthEast. She was born July 1, 1919 in Darlington Co., SC, the daughter of the late Luther and Loretta Edwards Gainey. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clinton Wallace, brothers, Luther Gainey and Baxter McKinley and a sister, Thyra Louise Burkett. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Kannapolis. She had formerly lived in Hartsville, SC and worked at Bishopville Manufacturing for many years. She loved to cook for her family. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, March 25, 2013 at Faith Baptist Church officiated by Rev. James Pauley. Burial will follow at 3:00 PM at New Market Methodist Church Cemetery in Hartsville, SC. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 prior at church.
