Eula Tenney Leiter

Obituary: Eula Tenny Leiter, age 92, of Concord formerly of Rochester, New York died Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at Transitional Health Services of Concord after a period of declining health. There will be celebration service held at 4:00 PM Saturday, November 6 at Crossroads Church in Concord. Rev. Michael Fongemy is officiating. Eula was born August 6, 1918 in Hilton, NY to the late Floyd and Margarita Price Tenny. She was a telephone operator for many years in Hamlin, Brockport and Rochester NY, retiring in the mid-seventies. Eula moved here from Rochester, 3 ½ years ago to be near family. In addition to her parents, Eula was preceded in death by her husband, Norman J. Leiter, Jr. and her brother, Herbert F. Tenny. Survivors include her son, Dale H. Leiter (Lillian) of Rochester NY, her daughter, Karen Hayes (Paul) of Concord, her grandson, Andrew Hayes (Christine) of Concord and her granddaughter Robin Hayes (Brian Shuptar) of Ft. Wayne, IN. She is also survived by 4 great-granddaughters and by her brother, Alvan Tenny (Lois) of Belleview, FL.
