Evan Douglas Forgays

Obituary: Evan Douglas Forgays, 34, of Concord died December 31, 2012 at CMC North East Medical Center. Evan was born July 18, 1978 in Virginia Beach, VA. to Reginald and Patricia Forgays. He was a graduate of Parkersburg High School in Parkersburg, West Virginia. His hobbies were Notre Dame Football, Duke Basketball, and antiquing with his mom; and he was previously employed with Harris Teeter. In addition to his parents he is survived by his brother, James E. Forgays and wife Angela of Kannapolis; a sister, Anne-Marie Forgays Dancy and husband William of Concord; a nephew, Cody Forgays; and two nieces, Sarah Forgays and Annabella Dancy. A funeral service will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday, January 3, 2013 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mike Edwards officiating. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Wednesday evening at Whitley's Funeral Home and other times at the family home.
