Evan Zachary James

Evan Zachary James, 39 of Long Beach CA, formerly of Kannapolis, died unexpectedly on September 25, 2024, in Los Angeles CA.

A memorial service to remember his life will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, November 23 at Carolina Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with Pastor Jeff James officiating. Inurnment will follow in the mausoleum.

Evan was born on March 18, 1985, in Irving TX, the son of the late Richard James and Susan Price-James of Kannapolis. In addition to his father Evan was preceded in death by his Maternal grandparents, Pauline and Clarence Price and his paternal grandparents, Hazel and Frank James. He is survived by his mother, aunts, uncles and many cousins.

Evan loved life and people, especially his family. He enjoyed fishing and being out in nature. Evan loved animals and flowers. He had a smile that could light up the room and a laugh that was contagious. Evan enjoyed working with his hands doing home repairs and construction.
