Evelyn M. Bonack

Obituary: Kannapolis, NC- Evelyn M. Bonack, age 85, passed away peacefully on December 29, 2013 at the home of her daughter, Ellen, by her side where she resided since 2012. She was married to her husband, Thomas, for 63 years who predeceased her on December 21, 2011. She was formally of Jackson, New Jersey before moving to Apollo Beach, FL in 1979. Evelyn was a lifetime member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary in Ruskin, FL. Evelyn enjoyed donating her time and talent making afghans for Hospice patients. She loved her family very much. No memorial service is planned. Evelyn leaves behind her loving children, a son, John Bonack of FL; three daughters, Ellen Vitello in NC, Carolyn Schastny and Beverly Bennett, both of NJ; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a sister, who will dearly miss her. In Evelyn's memory donations may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care of Cabarrus County, 5003 Hospice Lane, Kannapolis, NC 28081.
