Evelyn Mullis Moore

Obituary: Evelyn Mullis Moore, age 81, died Friday, June 25, 2010 at Universal Healthcare, Concord, NC. She was born January 12, 1929 in Cabarrus County, NC, the daughter of the late Alonzo (Lon) Mullis and Elizabeth Davis Mullis. She was employed with the former Cannon Mills Company, Plt.#1 for 30 years until her retirement. She was a member of North Kannapolis United Methodist Church, Kannapolis, NC. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Parks Nolan Moore, who died August 6, 2007. The funeral service will be 8:00 P.M. Sunday, June 27, 2010 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel, Kannapolis, NC officiated by Rev. Marvin Honeycutt. A graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 28, 2010 at Carolina Memorial Park, Kannapolis, NC. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home prior to the service. Survivors include two sons, Barry Moore and Charles Moore, both of Concord, NC; one brother, Ira J.
