Obituary: Evelyn Roseman Richkus, born February 28, 1919, in Rowan County to the late Annie Mae Overcash and Harvey Cleveland Roseman, went to heaven on Saturday, October 20, 2018. She graduated from Granite Quarry High School and Baltimore Bible College. She lived in Baltimore, Maryland for 43 years before returning to Salisbury in 1985. She was a resident of Trinity Oaks Health and Rehabilitation. She was a devout Christian who loved people, her family, and her Lord. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, William Wayne Lippard, Jr, her husband Andrew Anthony Richkus, a grandson David Jonathon Richkus, and her 9 brothers and sisters. Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter Judy Elder ( Dick) , step-son Richard Richkus (Vanessa) , 6 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Special thanks to nieces Darlene Smith and Priscilla Burton for their attentive care in the last years of her life. The graveside funeral service will be held at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Salisbury on Sunday, October, 28 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Brenda Bynum officiating.
