Evelyn Scott

Obituary: Evelyn Christine Hager Scott, 88, of Kannapolis died March 27, 2011 at CMC-NorthEast. She was born January 30, 1923 in Cabarrus County, the daughter of the late Robert and Pearl Lippard Hager. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Monroe Scott Sr. in 1988 , a brother Robert Lee Hager, a sister Elizabeth Neal Patterson, a half sister Annie Mae Woodall and a step brother Francis Ray Hager. She retired from Cannon Mills Co. Plant 1 # 2 weave room. A graveside service will be held at 2:30 PM Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at Chestnut Hill Cemetery, Salisbury officiated by Rev. Robert Earnhardt. She is survived by her sister Katherine Juanita McCreary of Kannapolis and many nieces and nephews. Whitley's Funeral Home handling arrangements.
