Obituary: Farrie Sue Pittard Booth, 87, of 517 Walter Street, Kannapolis died Monday Dec. 7, 2009 at CMC-NorthEast. She was born April 28, 1922 in Madison County, Ga., the daughter of the late Walter and Clara Pittard. She was also preceded in death by her husband Jonah C. Booth and five brothers. She retired from Cannon Mills Co. in 1986 where she had worked in the weave room. She was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, cooking and craftwork. Her funeral service will be 2:00 PM Saturday Dec. 12, 2009 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Rev. Mike Hubbard. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 2:00 on Saturday. She is survived by her son, James C. Booth and wife Margarita of Kannapolis, 3 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and her brother, J.W. Pittard of Comer, Ga.
