Faye Darnell

Obituary: Faye Tinkle Darnell, passed away Monday, March 25, 2013 at CMC University Medical Center. Mrs. Darnell was born in Dyersburg, Tennessee to the late Garrett Tinkle and Lorriane Boatwright. She was a member of Providence Baptist Church in Harrisburg; was a loving homemaker, wife, and mother. Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Troy Darnell; a daughter, Denise Darnell of Concord; two sisters, Peggy Humphries of Avon Park, Fl. and June Thompson of Salt Lake City, Utah; and a niece, Jennifer Merritt (Keith). She was preceded in death by a daughter, Diane Darnell. A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 28, 2013 at Carolina Memorial Park Harrisburg, NC. The family will greet friends following the service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Cabarrus County Humane Society 210 Wilshire Ct.
