Flora Elizabeth (Wessel) Jordan

Flora Elizabeth Wessel Jordan, 97, of Salisbury, passed away January 22, 2024 at her home.

She was born in Andrews SC, to the late Henry Jacob Wessel and Flora Amanda Byrd Wessel.

Flora was a mother, teacher, friend, wife and follower of Jesus Christ. She loved richly, generously and well. One love was teaching children in her second-grade classroom, Sunday school, VBS or AWANAs. Over the years, she positively influenced thousands of young people. Flowers, painting watercolors, birds and all God's natural wonders were also things she loved. And she loved her husband and family. But most of all, she loved her Lord and Savior for whom she served her whole life.

She was preceded in death by her husband Eugene Jordan in 2019.

Those left to cherish her memory, daughter Roxanne Flora Jordan, son Stephen Eugene Jordan, daughter in law Janet Parkman Jordan, sister in law Betty Wessel as well as nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be held 4:30 PM Thursday, January 25, 2024, at First Baptist Church China Grove with Pastor Steve Wilson and Trent Drye officiating, visitation will be prior to the service from 3:30 to 4:30pm.

Graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, January 26, at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Columbia SC. Meet at the Mausoleum.
