Flora Ann (Strickland) Jordan

Flora Ann Strickland Jordan, 83, passed away on April 6, 2020. Flora was born June 28, 1936 in Cabarrus County, a daughter of the late Walter Wesley Strickland and Margaret Mary Belle Barnhardt Strickland. She was preceded in death by a son, Gary Jordan.

Flora Ann had retired from Cannon Mills where she worked in the sheet dept. most of her life and also worked as a security guard in later years at Cannon Mills and other business after Cannon Mills closed. She loved her animals.

She is survived by her sister, Ettawa Dover, niece, Sherry Kennedy (Joe), nephew, Douglas “Sonny” Dover Jr., great nephews and nieces, Kevan Dover (Gina), April Edwards (Jim), Jonathan Kennedy Jr., Mark Kennedy (Alayna).

Due to the coronavirus, a memorial service will be held at a later date by her family. Flora Ann was laid to rest at West Lawn Memorial Park.
