Frances Mae Lockman Cowley

Obituary: Frances Mae Lockman Cowley, 70, of Kannapolis died Saturday, February 4, 2012 at Iredell Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, Feb. 8 at Carolina Memorial Park with Rev. Leon Smith officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 PM Wednesday at Whitley's Funeral Home Annex Chapel. Frances was born February 25, 1941 in Cabarrus co. NC, a daughter of the late W.L. and Mae Dancy Lockman. She graduated from Winecoff High School in 1959 and was a member of Sharon Baptist Church. She enjoyed the Lunch Plus activities at the Kannapolis YMCA as well as other senior's activities. Frances was preceded in death by her 2 husbands, Joseph Pacini and Ned Cowley and her son Kirk Pacini, Sr. She is survived by her grandchildren Kirk Pacini, Jr. of Concord, Laura Pacini of Salisbury, Brittney Pacini of Enochville, Joey Pacini of Salisbury and Freedom Waldroup of Kannapolis, 2 great grandchildren, her sister Brenda Sweat of Kannapolis and her close friend, Donna Pittman of Kannapolis Online condolences may be left at www.whitleysfuneralhome.com.
