Frances Elliot Harris

Obituary: Frances May Elliott Harris, 86, passed away Sunday, January 13, 2013 at her residence. Mrs. Harris was born in Cumberland County, Vermont to the late Merle Elliott and Rosa Harriman Elliott. She was married to Dale E. Harris for 67 years who survives. She retired from Fairchild Company after 26 years of service. Survivors include her husband of the home; two sons, Robert D. Harris of Oddisfield, Me and Richard A. Harris of Hollis, Me; a daughter, Judy Darling of Las Vegas, NV; a sister, Betty Hazelbower of Oxford, NC; five grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday, January 21, 2013 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Joe Phillips officiating. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 5-7 P.M.
