Frances Bost Hill

Frances Willene Hill, 93, of Kannapolis, NC, passed away on February 4, 2024. She was born on June 13, 1930, in Rowan County, NC, to the late Holland and Grace Bost. Frances was the dedicated wife of Donald Hill and a loving mother to her sons Ronald & Kenny Hill.

Frances had a vibrant personality and was known for her kindness, care, and passion. She had a great sense of humor and loved making memories with her family and friends through shopping and traveling. Frances enjoyed playing the piano and singing at church, spending time with her siblings, and cherishing every moment with her grandkids and great-grandkids.

Frances had a successful career at Cannon Mills, where she dedicated over 40 years of her life. She was a hardworking and committed employee, leaving a lasting impact on her colleagues.

Frances was a member of New Grace Baptist Church in Concord, NC, where she found solace and spiritual fulfillment.

Frances is survived by her son Kenny and wife Jean, daughter-in-law Gail Hill, grandchildren Jamie (Connie & Drew), Mandy Overcash (Jason, Bryson & Kinston), Chrystie Bell (Stephen, Ayden), Josh Hill (Walker), Kendra Heath (Bryan, Declan, Annistyn), as well as her surviving siblings Helen Craig, Hazel Freeze, Rev. Gene Bost, Jerry Bost, and Tom Bost. She was preceded in death by her husband Donald Hill and son Ronald Hill.

Services for Frances will be held on Friday, February 9th, at Whitley's Main Chapel. The receiving of friends and family will take place from 2:00-3:00, followed by the service at 3:00. The graveside ceremony will immediately follow the service. Pastors Allen Montgomery an Joey Spry, will be officiating the service and offering suppport to the family.Whitley's Funeral Home in Kannapolis, NC, is assisting with the arrangements.

Frances will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her memory will forever remain in our hearts.
