Obituary: Davidson, NC Frances Telitha Honeycutt, age 83, died Friday, March 5, 2010 at the First Assembly Living Center, Concord, NC after a period of declining health. She was born August 28, 1926 in Union County, NC, the daughter of the late Marvin Alexander Clontz and Missouri Benton Clontz. She was employed as a seamstress having worked for former Terry Products, Inc. and Sunrise Apparel for 34 years. She was a member of College Park Baptist Church, Charlotte, NC. Frances was viewed by her family as having a big heart, loving all people, and making stray animals her pets. But, most of all, she loved the Lord. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Howard Honeycutt in 1988, a son, Roger Thomas, Sr. in 2000, five brothers- Clifford Clontz, Benjamin Clontz, Javan Clontz, Hurley Clontz, and Donald Clontz. The funeral service will be 1:00 P.M. Monday, March 8, 2010 at Whitley's Funeral Home Main Chapel, Kannapolis, NC officiated by Rev. Ronnie Cooper. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park, Kannapolis, NC. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Sunday, March 7, 2010 at Whitley's Funeral Home. Survivors include her daughter, Theresa Pasek & husband, David of Charlotte, NC; her son, William Honeycutt & wife, Melissa of China Grove, NC; grandchildren, Sherri Severt, Holly Tadlock, DeeAnn Rice, Cindy Steelman, Dale Thomas, and Jack Thomas; ten great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to First Assembly Living Center, 150 Warren C. Coleman Blvd., North, Concord, NC 28027. On-line condolences may be left at www.whitleysfuneralhome.com.
