Frances Skipper

Obituary: Frances Skipper, 72 of Thomasville, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, December 11, 2013. Her death follows a period of declining health. Frances was born in Chesterfield County, SC, on August 4, 1941 a daughter of the late John Walker and Rosalee Dixon Boone. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a grandson; Tony Skipper, two great granddaughters; Kadie Leeann Winegar, and Hailey Skipper, a son-in-law; Richard Leonard, four brothers and a sister. Frances is survived by her husband; Nathan Skipper, children; Becky Bailey and husband Jr., Sandra Leonard, Tammy Jones and husband Marvin, Tim Skipper and wife Sissy, Steve Skipper and wife Melissa, Robbin Skipper and husband Wayne Sr., and Sharon Williamson and husband Carlton, 22 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren, sisters; Patricia Gulledge, Beatrice Jackson, and Margaret Hinson. Funeral services for Frances will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, December 16, 2013 at Whitley's Funeral Home Main Chapel with Rev. Doug McGee officiating. Burial will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove. The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 15 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at Whitley's Funeral Home.
