Frances Marilene (Cathey) Stirewalt

Frances “Marilene” Cathey Kelley Stirewalt, age 84 of Concord, NC, formerly of Cleveland, TN, left her earthly life on Sunday October 9, 2022 while at Universal Healthcare in Concord, after a period of declining health.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, November 5, 2022 at Calvary Lutheran Church in Concord and her family will receive friends at the church from 10 to 11:00 AM prior. Burial of cremains will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Concord.

Marilene was born January 5, 1939 in Cleveland, TN, a daughter of the late T.J. Cathey and Margaret Everett Hardin.  In addition to her parents, Marilene was preceded in death by her brother Jack Cathey.

In earlier years she was a district manager in the retail clothing industry and moved to this area from Cleveland, TN in 1991. She was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church in Concord.

Survivors include her husband F. Moses Stirewalt, daughter Karen Kelley Wilhelm(Wayne) of Cleveland, TN, her son Rodney Kelley(Cathy) of Eagleville, TN, her daughter Sabrina Kelley Eagle of Winston-Salem, NC, her grandchildren Bianca Goss, Kelley Ford, Whitney Kelley, Lindsay Eagle Banko, Joshua Eagle and Danielle Eagle, her great grandchildren Willow, Shelby, Waylon, Hattie and Emerson., her step-son, Frederick Keith Stirewalt (Rev. Margaret Norris Stirewalt) and their children, Thomas and Christopher  and her step-daughter, Lisa S. Youkers (Dave) and their children, Adele and Sarah as well as two great-grandchildren.,
