Obituary: Frank Ray Freeze, 91, of Cabarrus Co., passed away, Saturday, December 23, 2017 at Tucker Hospice House. A graveside service will be held at 2:30 PM Tuesday, December 26, at Coddle Creek A.R.P. Church Cemetery, Mooresville, a visitation will be prior to the service from 12:30 to 2:00 PM at Whitley's Funeral Home. Mr. Freeze was born October 28, 1926 in Cabarrus Co. to the late William Chance Freeze and Maude Rumple Freeze. Frank Married the love of his life Dorothy Crisco July 1947, and had a loving marriage until her death January 5, 2014. He worked at Cannon Mills as a young man. Started commercial fishing along with several of his brothers in his early 20's and continued fishing for 40 years. Frank retired from T&N Manufacturing. He served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII. Frank loved hunting with his grandsons, farming, fishing, and family. He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Crisco Freeze, eight brothers, and two sisters. Those left to cherish his memory, two daughters, Shirley Mae Freeze Hudson (Roger), Myra Ray Freeze Trull (Ken), five grandchildren, Frankie Dale Hudson (Beth), Dennis Wayne Hudson (Lori), R. Brian Hudson (Rene), Darin Lee Hudson (Ginny), Kenneth Ray Trull (Kim), 11 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
