Franklin Delano Hobbs

Obituary: Mr. Franklin Delano Hobbs, 76, of 208 West 19th St., Kannapolis died at his home on Friday morning, Oct. 2, 2009. Death was un-expected. Frank was born in Cabarrus County, NC, the son of the late Paul Monroe Hobbs and the late Sara Elizabeth Hunsucker Hobbs. He was a taxi driver for Yellow Dome and later for A&S Taxi Service. Years ago he worked for Cannon Mills. Survivors include his wife, Clara Nell Hinson Hobbs of the home, a son, Frankie Hobbs of FL. and a brother Paul L. Hobbs of Kannapolis. The funeral service for Mr. Hobbs will be 2p.m. Monday, October 5, 2009 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Ralph Robinette.
