Franklin Hiram Shue, Sr.

Obituary: Franklin Hiram Shue, Sr., 69, of 171 Brircliff Dr., Kannapolis died at CMC-NE in Concord, NC on May 14, 2011. Mr. Shue was born on June 21, 1941 in Cabarrus County, the son of the late Alfred David Shue and the late Gladys Williams Shue. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Ira "Buddy" Shue. Mr. Shue was a self employed forklift mechanic. Mr Shue is survived by his wife, Carolyn Dorton Shue; a son, Frank Shue, Jr.; 2 daughters, Sherri Snyder and Terry Hackworth and six grandchildren. The funeral for Mr. Shue will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, May 17, 2011, graveside services at Carolina Mem. Park in Kannapolis. The family will receive friends from 10-11 Tuesday before the service at Whitley's Funeral Home.
