Fred Marion Beaver

Obituary: Fred Marion Beaver, 85, of Statesville, died and went to be with his Savior, Jesus Christ on Thursday January 21, 2016. He was born in Harmony, NC in 1930, son of late Simpson Marion Beaver and Beulah Gaither Beaver. Fred Beaver was married to Barbara Jean Mann Beaver of Kannapolis, who preceded him in death in 1997. He was also preceded in death by brothers, Jack, Gaither, and Harold Beaver. Fred Beaver was as a highly skilled Machinist. He worked 35 years at Sherrill Machinery in Troutman, NC, until his retirement. He is survived by one son, Douglas Beaver (Carol) of Apex, NC, and one grandson, Ryan Beaver, a junior in college. Also surviving is brother in law Jerry Mann (Linda), sister in laws Blenda Beaver and Claudia Beaver and cousins Mary Woolard, and Effie Lawing. Nephews and nieces include Harold Evan Beaver, Diane Baretsky, Donnie and Ronnie Billings, Debbie Purcell, Billy, and Dale Mann, and numerous great nephews and nieces. Family will receive friends at Whitley Funeral Home, 1748 Dale Earnhardt Blvd, Kannapolis, NC on Sat. Jan 30, at Noon.
