Freda Griffin Mccorkle

Obituary: Freda Griffin McCorkle, 50, of Concord went home to her Lord on Monday. October 23, 2017 from the Tucker Hospice House after a period of declining health. Her funeral will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday, Oct. 25 at Mills Chapel Primitive Baptist Church with Elders Rom Kerley, Tom Robinson and Wayne Gravely officiating. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. Her family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday from 1:00 to 2:00 PM. Freda was born July 7, 1967 in Cabarrus County, the daughter of Warren W. Griffin of Kannapolis and the late Pauline Helms Griffin. She was a member of Mills Chapel Primitive Baptist Church. Freda was a loving daughter, wife and sister. She will be deeply missed. In addition to her father Freda is survived by her husband, Mike McCorkle of the home and her brother, Mark Lee Griffin and family of Lumberton.
