Obituary: Fronie Honeycutt Ervin Hamrick, 87, of Landis passed away on Monday, May 22, 2017 at Liberty Commons. She was born August 9, 1929 in Iredell County, a daughter of the late Tobe Alexander Honeycutt and Lillian Mae Sloop Honeycutt. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert Lee Ervin and Clinard Hamrick. Fronie retired from Cannon Mills after 40 years of service. She was a member of Rogers Park Baptist Church. She loved cooking and gardening. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, May 26, 2017 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Rev. Ralph Robinette. Burial will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:00 PM at Whitley's. Fronie is survived by her daughters, Sandy Wood (David), Bobbie "Barbara" Johnson (Lee), 5 grandchildren, Eric Reid (Anita), Chris Reid (Crystal), Wendi Reid Wyrick (Curtis), Brian Gobble, Hailey Wood, 7 great grandchildren, Kayla, Kersten, Kaitlyn, Kinsley, Shelby, Savanah, Spence and special friends, Jewel Smith and Carol Honeycutt.
