Garrett Judson Mobley Jr.

Garrett Judson Mobley Jr., 80, passed away on February 28, 2021 at his home in Charlotte, NC. He was born on June 20, 1940 in Lancaster County, SC to the late Garrett Judson Mobley Sr. and Kathryn Rowell Mobley. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Linda Sample Mobley. Mr. Mobley graduated from Kershaw High School in Kershaw, SC in 1958 and was a 1962 graduate of Clemson College. He retired as a mechanical engineer for Industrial Risk Insurers. Garrett enjoyed gardening and was a devoted Clemson fan.

Garrett is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Sylvia Ford (Don) of West Columbia, SC; nieces, Melissa Ford Vagts (James) of Derby, Kansas and Susan Ford (Jason) of Simpsonville, SC; great nephews, Sutton Smith and Cameron Vagts and great niece, Sidney Smith. Our family wishes to thank special friends, Bill and Bonnie Keaton, for their love and care for Garrett.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
