Obituary: Gary "Monte" Bringle, Jr., 55 of Kannapolis left his earthly home to enter the gates of heaven on Sunday, June 21, 2015 at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis, NC. Monte was born on June 15, 1960 in Salisbury, NC the son of Gary Monte Bringle, Sr. of Kannapolis and the late Anita Louise Lee Bringle. In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by a son, Sammy Bringle who died in 2000. Monte was a veteran of the U.S. Navy where he served as a System Organizational Maintenance Technician. In earlier years, Monte was a Boy Scout where he earned his Eagle at the age of sixteen. He later became a Scout Master with Troop 96, North Kannapolis United Methodist Church. Monte was also a member of the Outdoor Revolution at his church. Monte shared a passion and extreme love of his southern heritage where he was active in the Rowan Rifles, Camp 405, Sons of Confederate Veterans. He was also an honorary member of the 30th N.C.S.T. and was Captain of the 63rd, N.C.S.T./ 5th Calvary. Survivors include his loving wife, Rachel Terry Bringle and daughter Abigail Bringle both of the home; his father, Gary Monte Bringle "Carolyn" of Kannapolis; 2 brothers, Mark Bringle "Tammy" and Greg Bringle both of Kannapolis; 2 nephews, Jon and Ryan Bringle and a niece, Meagan Bringle. The service for Mr. Bringle will take place at 1 p.m., Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at Revolution Church conducted by Pastor Keith Kannenberg. Burial will take place at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 23, 2015 from 6-9:00 p.m. at Whitley's Funeral Home.
