Gary Bringle

Obituary: Gary Monte Bringle, Sr., 81, of Kannapolis went to be with is Lord and Savior surrounded by his family on October 13, 2018 at Tucker Hospice House. Mr. Bringle was born on August 1, 1937 in Rowan County, son of the late Garland William Bringle, Sr. and the late Annie Lou Miller Bringle. In addition to his parents, Gary is preceded in death by his first wife, Anita Lee Leazer Bringle, a son Gary Monte Bringle, Jr. and a brother, Garland W. Bringle, Jr. and a sister, Joyce Lee Bringle Graham. Mr. Bringle started working right out of high school at the former Cannon Mills Co. working his way up to a supervisor working at Cannon for thirty years. He then started working for Norandal USA in Salisbury. Gary was a member of North Kannapolis United Methodist Church for around fifty-five years. Survivors include his wife Carolyn Lefler Bringle of the home, two sons; Jonathan Mark Bringle (Tammy) and Gregory Allan Bringle, four grandchildren; Meagan Lee Ann Anterola, JonathanTyler Bringle, Ryan Mark Bringle and Abigail Bringle. Also, by his siblings, Patricia Benfield Masters, Roderick Edwin Bringle "Ron", Linda Mae Owen, Sherryl Elizabeth Bridgmon, Randy Henderson Bringle and Crystal Jolene Earnhardt. The service for Mr. Bringle will take place at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 16th at North Kannapolis United Methodist Church conducted by Rev. Ron Hartman. Burial will take place at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove. The family will receive friends from 7-9:00 p.m., Monday, Oct. 15th at Whitley's Funeral Home.
